Lauren Baker

Lauren Baker practices in our litigation department.  Lauren’s practice focuses on a variety of subject matter including franchise disputes, other commercial litigation, and professional liability/malpractice defense.  Lauren has successfully represented clients at the Ontario Superior Court, as well as the Ontario Court of Appeal.

Prior to joining Hoffer Adler LLP, Lauren completed her articles and worked at a boutique firm in Toronto where she focussed on franchising law and did defense work in professional liability cases.  She also appeared as counsel on multiple class actions.

While attending law school at Queen’s University, Lauren was a student caseworker at the Queen’s Elder Law Clinic.  During her time at the Clinic, Lauren provided legal services related to wills and estates to members of the Kingston community who would not have been able to afford a lawyer otherwise.
